Product Review: Pirate’s Booty Aged White Cheddar Puffs

This may well be the coolest snack ever! They bag alone is enough to send me running back for more :) The bag features a cocky pirate and his faithful parrot companion spouting phrases like, “Thar be good!” This marketing is just plain fun.

In reality, though, fun packaging does not a good snack make. The fact that these cheese puffs are baked and have no trans-fat does. Add a list of all natural (and pronounceable) ingredients and we’re really in business.

Ease of Use

True to the standards of any good snack food, Pirate’s Booty is easy to grab and munch. Just open the bag.

Appearance

The puffs are an off white color. Each one has it’s own shape but they are all small and bite size.

Taste and Texture

These puffs are the perfect blend of flavor and texture. There is nothing over the top or overpowering about them. The white cheddar flavor is mild and delicious. The texture is light and crispy.

Versatility

I don’t see much room for versatility here.

Overall Value

With a price tag under $2, I would buy these over and over.
