Bake sale time!

Posted by: valeriefender on Sept. 24, 2010

How many times during the school year do you find a note asking for you to donate baked goods for a bake sale to raise money for this and that? It’s a common fund raiser for many organizations and schools and one that most kids love to volunteer us for. After all, what kid doesn’t want to show off their mom’s prize winning cookie or brownie recipe? Maybe you make a killer cupcake?

For those of you that don’t have a “prize winning” recipe, or perhaps you want to try something new, here’s a list of a few that will get you started. So many tasty recipes and any gluten-free cookie lover will be thrilled to go to your school’s bake sale and find a tasty treat that they can have.

All too often, as I’m sure you know already, there are bake sales that you have to avoid because there is nothing on the table that is safe for you. I know it’s happened with us a time or two. Thankfully, we know how to fix that “problem”.

Cookies

Do you have a bake sale favorite that isn’t listed here? Please add it to our recipe section, we are always looking for a good recipe for any occasion!
