Brussel Sprouts with Bacon

I have never been a fan of these little green things. BUT I am now. I had a friend share with me her recipe and fell in love with brussel sprouts. I have since changed it up and made my own recipe. I think you will like it. And there is bacon so how could you not right!

Ingredients
1 1/2 to 2 pounds of brussel sprouts
2 cloves garlic minced
salt and pepper (pinch of each)
2 slices of bacon chopped
1/2 to 1 cup chicken stock
2 tbls olive oil
Instructions
Cut off the ends of the brussel sprouts. Then cut into halves
In a skillet put two tbls of olive oil
The add the brussel sprouts,salt and pepper,garlic salt and cook until browned
Remove from pan into another dish.
Add chopped bacon to the same pan. Cook until browned.
Put the brussel sprouts back into the pan and add the garlic.
Cook for two minutes. Then add 1/2 cup of broth.
Turn down to simmer. Add the rest of the broth if needed.

Looks TASTY! Can't wait to try them. I LOVE brussel sprouts, my family...not so much. Hopefully this recipe will help to "convert" them. :)
