Caramel Popcorn Bars safe

Yummy variation on an old favorite!

Great for those popcorn cravings, perfect for your next fall party, school lunch or after school snack!

Cooking time 10 minutes
Servings 15

Ingredients

2 quarts popped popcorn
3 cups crisp rice cereal*
1 bag of Kraft Caramels, unwrapped
3 tablespoons water
1 cup salted peanuts (read labels to ensure there is no added gluten)
1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Combine popcorn and cereal in a large bowl and set aside. In a microwave safe dish, combine caramels and water. Heat until caramels are melted. Stir in peanuts and salt; mix well. Pour over popcorn mixture and toss to coat. Press mixture into a greased 9“x13” baking pan. Allow to cool completely, cut and enjoy!

*I used EnviroKidz Organic Koala Crisp cereal. Came out wonderfully!
