This is a fabulous fondue recipe, full of cheesy goodness. A cheese lovers dream!

Prep time 15 minutes
Cooking time 20 minutes
Servings 2 cups

Ingredients

4 teaspoons corn starch, divided
1 Tablespoon plus 1 cup dry white wine
2 cups (8 ounces) Gruyere Cheese, shredded
2 cups (8 ounces) Swiss Cheese, shredded
1 garlic clove, peeled and halved
1 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
1/8 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
3 drops hot pepper sauce (or to taste)

Instructions

In a small bowl, combine 2 teaspoons corn starch with 1 tablespoon wine. Set aside. Combine the cheeses with the remaining 2 teaspoons corn starch. Set aside.

Rub the sides of a large saucepan with the cut sides of the garlic, discard garlic. Add remaining wine to the pan and heat over medium heat until bubbles begin to form around the sides of the pan. Stir in lemon juice.

Reduce heat to medium-low; add a handful of cheese mixture. Stir constantly, using a figure-eight motion, until almost completely melted. Continue adding cheese, one handful at a time, allowing the cheese to almost completely melt between additions.

Stir in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce. Stir cornstarch mixture, gradually add it to the cheese mixture. Cook and stir until mixture is thickened and smooth. Keep warm. Serve with gluten-free bread cubes, apple slices or gluten-free pretzel sticks.
