Chocolate Bark with Candy Cane safe

I make this for Christmas time. It is easy and a crowd pleaser.

Ingredients

3/4 cup crushed candy cane

20 ounces chocolate melted

Instructions

In your food processor pulse your candy canes (about 4 or so) until they are not powder but chopped with some chunks but mostly tiny pieces.

Melt your chocolate in a double boiler. When all melted I add about 1/2 cup or so of the chopped candy cane. Stir it until blended. Then I pour out onto a silpot. Then I level it out to a thin layer. Top with the rest of the candy cane, or more. Put into your freezer for about 7 minutes. Then break apart and keep in plastic bags in you refrigerator or freezer.
