I found this recipe on a website called Everyday Food Storage. I thought it sounded intriguing, so I made a few substitutions to make it gluten free and it worked GREAT! I made a post on my blog about it, including the author's video tutorial. Here is the link: http://adventuresofaglutenfreemom.com/2009/09/16/fast-and-easy-condensed-soup-recipes/ I will post a separate recipe for the condensed soup made with Magic Mix.

Ingredients
2 1/3 C. Powdered Milk (I am sure you could easily use a powdered rice, potato or soy milk if you need dairy free)
1 C. All Purpose Flour (I used Tom Sawyers GF All Purpose Flour)
1 C. (2 sticks) Margarine or Butter, at room temperature (I used Smart Balance in the tub, I am sure you could also use a vegan spread for a dairy free substitute).
Instructions
These instructions are taken from the website, “www.everydayfoodstorage.net”
You will need some sort of good mixer. Make sure you use beaters when making the mix
Combine dry milk, flour and margarine/butter into a large bowl.
Mix until it looks like corn meal. (You may want to start off slow and work up to the fastest setting so that it doesn’t blow powder all over)
Keep mix tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.
