Hi! I'm Cindy and my whole family is gluten free. We're not sure if my daughter needs to follow a GF diet yet but since the rest of us do she's stuck with it for now. I'm happy to find another spot online to share GF info.

I am Tanya. Half of my kids are gluten-free... since I have Celiac, and so does my mother in law. My adopted daughters are lucky enough to have missed our genes! :o) We are pretty much a gluten free family, though. There isnt a point in fixing wheat for half of us. We have noticed that we seem to be slightly lactose intolerant as well, anyone else notice the need to cut back on lactose in conjunction with their celiac?

Charlotte, NC checking in! I have already found some great new recipes while surfing this site. Yes I have the sprue. I like to call myself "glutarded" never diagnosed with celiac disease. Gluten free is great, food is easy. The family is still stumped. "Rum, mom. no beer is not ok." I have also noticed a need to cut back on dairy. Soy milk is actually pretty good! Keep your head up and eat fresh. Cornbread & white corn tortillas get just about everything done from pizza on the tortillas to BLT wraps!

Red Bridge Beer, a Budweiser-made amber beer (can you get it anywhere but Texas? Not sure) is a great sorghum beer. If you can't find it where you live, you might want to have it shipped in. :-)

"Glutarded" - LOL, love that! Yeah, 8 years later, and my family still doesn't understand how to feed me, nor will my father who most certainly has celiac, give up the gluten. Holidays are always a dietary dance, as I roll into town with my cooler of food I've cooked for myself ahead of time!

Hello everyone. I'm Charles Luce and I'm happy to be part of Gling! Both my wife and I are diagnosed celiacs (she gave it to me {just kidding})! I'm the family cook and I love the fact that celiac has forced me to learn how to bake. I've joined Gling for social reasons, and to share my inventions. I make natural-leaven (sourdough), GF, hearth-style breads. C Ya!

      Charles,
I have been trying to find a natural-leaven sourdough GF bread recipe for almost 2 years, since I was first diagnosed. I'd love to have the recipe and am thrilled that there might be a chance that I'd get to eat some of those great crusty French-type breads that I miss so much.

Feel free to check it out. My goal is to encourage and help people who are also gluten free, whether it is due to Celiac Disease, or gluten intolerance.

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone! =D

Hi, I'm Debbie. My food-life is severely challenged so having this website is amazing. I'm not sure if any of you will like my "concocctions" (as my husband calls them) because I cannot have dairy, yeast, eggs, corn, potatoes, gluten, beef, fruits, sugars, nuts, seeds and a host of other foods. But I am willing to share; especially if you are faced with similar issues.

Debbie - we're actually REALLY wanting recipes, ideas, whatever from people who follow more than just the one dietary restriction (gluten-free). Please share away!
